We understand that rigorous quality control and testing procedures are absolutely critical. At H&T Industrial you will find no compromise on quality or testing. Regular audits are carried out to ensure product compliance to the highest functional and regulatory standards.

H&T Industrial is fully compliant with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and EU/FDA Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

A wide range of quality checks and tests are undertaken at H&T Industrial including the following:

Manufacturing Operator Checks

During the manufacturing of all our deep-drawn components, manufacturing operators undertake in process gauge checks every 30 minutes, including plug and ring gauges for component diameters, and customised manufacturing clock gauges for each component for specifications including length, as well as particular features/lengths/diameters of individual components.

Our operators visually inspect the components during production every 30 minutes with a magnifying lamp to help identify any possible defects in the production.

Components are also checked every two hours with optical gauging machines (OGP) by the manufacturing operators. Each component has a specific measuring routine with the OGP machines, which check the dimensions of the components to ensure they are within the specified tolerances. The results from the OGP are automatically uploaded to shopfloor online generating Statistical Process Control data.

Quality Technicians Checks

H&T Industrial’s well-equipped quality lab also undertakes a number of quality checks. The Quality lab measure specifications that cannot be measured with the equipment within the manufacturing cell, and also double-check certain specifications already checked by the manufacturing operators. The team in the Quality lab use a wide range of equipment and measuring machines such as the OGP, shadowgraph, CMM (coordinate measuring machine) contracer, dia test, pressure test, and surface finish measuring machine to ensure H&T Industrial supply quality deep-drawn components that meet our your specifications.
