Everyone has the right to work in a safe environment and here at H&T Industrial there is no exception.
We believe a safe workforce is a happy workforce and in 2018 we had a record of zero accidents on site which is testament to the attention our colleagues pay to keeping their working environment clean and safe. Complacency in health and safety can lead to mistakes but at H&T Industrial, we are continuously striving to ensure we make our facility a safe place to work.
Recent investments at H&T Industrial include a health and safety video for all new starters and visitors on our site. Being in the manufacturing industry and employing the use of heavy machinery, we regularly run courses for all staff to keep their knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues current. Our electronic sign in system tightens procedures throughout across our facility, giving HR clarity on visitors to our premises and ensuring fire safety regulations are followed.
At H&T Industrial, health and safety is at the heart of everything we do. We understand that published words aren’t going to keep people safe, which is why we invest in practical and physical resources to ensure our colleagues and visitors remain safe, and observant to help keep others safe when on-site.
On the 28th April 2019 there is an international campaign to promote and raise awareness for safety in the work place. Refreshing your knowledge on all things health and safety and could be the perfect opportunity to get people motivated at your company to become safer at work. After all, it’s better to be safe than sorry!
